Here you have the following four groups for the presentation. There will be 3 students per group but only 4 in the last group ( the figure of good and evil in the book.
Write a comment to this post specifying with group you would like to be. firsrt check the comments your partners have left and decide which group you want to be. I'll leve one link per grtopics so you can read them to have a better idea about the topics you are going to speak. The groups are Group 1 The role of women in the book as a dancel in distress 3 students http://www.embersigniting.com/the-damsel-in-distress-archetype/ Group 2 The role of man as a dominant male ( macho) 3 students Link: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2011/07/31/king-warrior-magician-lover-introduction/ Group 3 The role of the hero in the story. 3 students. Link: https://www.archetypes.com/heroes-and-villains-0/ Group 4 The conception of good and Evil in the story (who's good and who's the bad) 4 students Link: It is already corrected https://plainclothessuperheroes.wordpress.com/2012/02/16/basic-archetypes-good-vs-evil/ Read the following questions and write a 65-70 word paragraph in which you answered the questions.
1) Describe the principal characters (Spencer, Suzan, and Russell Costigan, and Hawk), what you like, what you don’t like about them and possible idea of what you think their past was. (For this question use what have learn from the story to create a picture of them, describe them in their physical part and in their personality). 2) Who do you think Suzan really love Spencer or Russell Costigan? Why? (For this question use your ideas and the evidence the book gives to support your answer.) 3) What do you think it was Russell’s biggest ambition? What makes you think so? (For this question use your ideas and the evidence the book gives to support your answer.) 4) What do you think it happened in the end of the book? How do you explain the final line “But this time Grace Costigan switched on a light and I left them there. Outside on the grassy hill the wind started to blow the darkness out of my head and heart.” (For this question you have to reconstruct and give your interpretation of the final line quoted in the question. The idea is to show how you see and understand the end of the story.) A TRIP THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET
When I studied at the school, but I don’t remember exactly if it happened in 6th or 7th grade, it was the first time I went to the National Coffee Park, in Quindío, with my school friends. It was a funny trip, where I learned about Colombian coffee’s production. Also, I enjoyed riding some mechanical attractions, like coffee ship, bumper cars, double Go-karts, skyride, and some others. I also saw an indian cemetery. It was fantastic, because in that place I learned about the history of our indigenous ancestors. Also, I heard about the local myths and legends, like La Madremonte, El Mohan and La Llorona. At that time, around the National Coffee Park, a soap opera was filmed, there I met Fernando Solórzano, an actor whose nickname is El Flaco Solórzano. He gave me an autograph on the shirt I was wearing. It was so cool. At the moment, I don’t know where this shirt is. Finally, it was a trip that I never forgot, because firstly, I saw that great park. Secondly, I went with my friends, so we enjoyed a lot of attractions. And thirdly, I met a famous Colombian actor. It was so spectacular. |
