This is the bus system. On average, around 230 thousand commuters use the urban bus service to go to work every day, in the Bucaramanga metropolitan area. It’s 5:00 and between 5:00 - 8:00 PM is the rush hour. The price to access the public bus is 2.550 pesos, these days there are several companies that make different buses available to commuters, each of which goes to different places, In the morning and at night the buses are mostly used by students and workers who are preparing to carry out their daily activities, such as going to study sites and to different jobs, It is a way of traveling that has become increasingly used.

I live in Piedecuesta, i normally use metrolinea but i preffer the urban route because is more frecuently, is slower than metrolinea but is more comfortable. metrolinea in quarantine is bad for me cause the time or period of route is more long and is more slow, the route and the metrolinea waste the same time for arrived at Cabecera or center of bucaramanga. When i study i preffer used “wheels” is a group of students that have car and post the routes that they do and we can comment for request a place in their car.

The construction of the Berlin underground (U-Bahn) began in 1902 and has a long and busy history. During the First and Second World War, Today, the Berlin subway is one of the most functional in Europe, The Berlin subway has a total of 173 stations on the surface and underground, some of them are notable for its peculiarity, also consists of 9 lines, all with underground sections and also some that go above the surface. Its schedule is approximately from 4:30 to 00:30 hours. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays most of the lines operate almost all night.

Public transportation is good but could improve, it has a variety of routes which is very good because we can go to various parts of the city but it also has few buses which makes the routes congested, the cost of the ticket is more and more high and this affects a little since it is not a high quality service, this also encourages the use of informal transport, another negative point is the insecurity that some of these routes have, the poor condition of the buses and the time they take in passing and sometimes it is not very fast.

The New York City subway system has been an iconic of American metropolitan transportation. The subway opened in 1904 and is the world's largest rapid transit system serving over 5.7 million daily riders on weekdays. The subway runs 24 hours a day, but service does change a great deal between midnight and 6.a.m .The New York City subway has 472 stations serving 27 subway lines - more than any other system in the word. These lines have three or four tracks .

The metrolinea is the most important means of transportation in bucaramanga, it opened in december of the 2009, it has 139 stations, reaching floridablanca and piedecuesta, the peak hours are between six am and 8 am in the morning and between six pm and eight pm. At this time the service collapses by the number od the people. Is good as most of this type of public service gives priority to people with disabilities, the elderly and pregnant women, but it is a bit dangerous since not in its entire route it has an exclusive lane and it has to share a lane with the other transport services and private cars.

In Los Santos, the most used transport is the bus, in Transportes La Culona you can go to La Mesa, Piedecuesta and Bucaramanga. if you want to go to Panachi, you have to pay 6.000 pesos from Piedecuesta or Los Santos and 8.000 until the town. Also, you can use the Flota Cáchira, but it is slower than La Culona. The buses start working from 4:00 AM and end at 6 PM in Los Santos and in Piedecuesta at 8PM. In the buses, you can see the beautiful landscapes that Los Santos have, you shouldn’t throw garbage out the window and you should take care of the buses and the landscape.

The public transport in my city is called Metrolinea. The construction of Metrolinea began in 2004 and it was inaugurated in December of 2009, therefore it is 10 years old. It has 139 stations,11 trunk and pre-trunk lines and 21 feeder lines. 245 000 people use Metrolinea daily. For business days it opens at 4:15 a.m. with the feeder lines and it closes around 8:25 p.m. For Saturdays it opens at 4:15 a.m. with the feeder lines and it closes around 7:45 p.m. For Sundays and public holidays, it opens at 4:45 a.m. with the feeder lines and it closes around 7:45 p.m. The rush hours in Metrolinea are between 7 o’clock and 8 o’clock in the morning, between 12 o’clock and 1 o’clock in the afternoon and between 6 o’clock and 7 o’clock in the evening.

The best public transportation I have ever used was in New York City, there is good public transportation, the rush hours are not really busy, and you can find many lines at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. I normally took the 301 route that went to Little Ferry.

In my city the public transport most famous is “metrolinea”. It transport around of 245000 personas for day. The first fase of building was finished in December of 2009. In the actuallity has 139 stations and covers around 300 km on the metropolitan area. I don’t know how many workers has the company, but they are approximately 1000 workers. The rush hour is between at seven am to nine am and in evening is between at five to eight. Metrolinea is closed after to 10:30 pm and again is open around at 5 am. The busiest stations are The Uis, provenza, cañaveral and the station of piedecuesta. In general terms the metrolinea is a well transport, but it should improve.

In Bogota, all day the traffic is crowded. Public transportation is a disaster. The most used public transport is Transmilenio. It started twenty years ago. More than two million people per day use that to go their jobs or their place of study. It has 147 stations and it travel 113km in trunk and 663 km by bus. During the week, it starts between four o’clock in the morning until eleven o’clock at night. On weekends and holidays, it starts between five o’clock in the morning until eleven o’clock at night. The buses are usually very busy, for this reason it is difficult to get passage and you must move several stations behind your destination to the bus door to leave on time. Traveling on Transmilenio is very stressful.
